PM Kisan: Previously many farmers were excluded from this scheme, now 34 lakh have been added.

Various schemes are run by the government for the benefit of farmers. Through these programs, financial assistance is also provided to fellow farmers. Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is run by the government to provide financial assistance to the farmer brothers. Through this, an amount of Rs 6,000 is transferred annually to the accounts of eligible farmer brothers. But the government has largely excluded farmers from the program. But now the government has brought thousands of farmers back into the program.

According to the report, the number of farmers benefited from April to July 2022 is 10. 47 crore After a few months, it came down to Rs 8. 12 crore But now the government has added 34 lakh farmers to the scheme. Out of which maximum farmers are expected to be from UP. It is known that the government's goal is to extend the benefits of the program to as many eligible farmers as possible.

What are the statistics.
Of the 34 lakh brother farmers, the maximum number of farmers includes 8. 50 lakh in Uttar Pradesh, 2. 39 lakh in Rajasthan, 2. 27 lakh in Manipur, 2. 20 lakh in Jharkhand and 1. 89 lakh in in Maharashtra. It is known that a large number of farmers are participating in this program through Vikas Bharat Yatra. This drive started on November 15 and will continue till January 26. Under the PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farmer families will get Rs 6,000 equally distributed through DBT every four months . The scheme was launched on February 24, 2019, just before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

What did the Minister of Agriculture say. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar told Lok Sabha that till July 2022, the number of people benefiting from PM Kisan was 10. 47 crore, but it has decreased by 20% in a year. On November 15 this year, 34 lakh people participated in the Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Most of these farmers are in Uttar Pradesh.
