The movie review of 12th Fail: This movie is an inspiring story with good intentions.

12th Fail is a story about a man who overcomes many challenges and succeeds. It is the year 1997. Manoj Kumar Sharma, played by Vikrant Massey, resides in Chambal alongside his family. His dad, Harish Khanna, got in trouble for being honest and got suspended. Manoj is feeling confident about his 12th exams even though he didn't study enough. This is because the teacher is going to help the students cheat. The plan is ruined because Dushyant Sharma, who is the new DSP, stops the bad behavior. Because of this, none of the students, including Manoj, succeed. When Dushyant saves Manoj's brother from bad police officers, he understands the positive impact an honest officer can have when they have power. Manoj wants to be like Dushyant. Dushyant tells him not to cheat to become successful like him. After passing his 12th exams, Manoj finishes his BA degree and moves to Gwalior to take the PCS exams. The exams are stopped, so Manoj goes to Delhi to take the IPS exams. Manoj gets nervous when he sees a lot of people gathered like him to try and change their luck. What happens next is the remainder of the movie.

movie review of 12th Fail: This movie is an inspiring story

Vidhu Vinod Chopra tells a really great story that is based on things that actually happened. Vidhu Vinod Chopra's script is interesting. This topic is not simple, but the talented filmmaker-writer is able to write an exciting script that maintains our interest. Vidhu Vinod Chopra's dialogues are really good and make people clap.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra's directing skills are excellent. The creativity, like using long shots, interesting camera work, and natural background noise, makes certain parts of a movie or video stand out more. There are a few important parts in the movie. One is the beginning scene. Another is when Dushyant saves Manoj's brother's life and they talk after. Gauri bhaiya's entry is also memorable. The intermission point is another noteworthy moment. Lastly, Manoj meeting his father at the flour mill is also significant. The most exciting part is very intense, and the very end scene is very emotional.

On the other hand, some changes appear believable. The story of the love interest's family is not interesting. Manoj not telling the truth to Shraddha (Medha Shankar) is confusing because he is usually very honest. The ending is emotional, but it reminds me of the movies The Pursuit of Happyness and 3 Idiots. Also, the movie is being presented in a way that is similar to how movies are shown at film festivals, and this limits its appeal. Finally, the music in the movie is not very good.

Vikrant Massey fully immerses himself in his character. It's hard to believe that he's not a villager who wants to become an IAS officer because he acts very realistically. This is definitely his best performance ever. Medha Shankar is really nice and she does a great job performing with confidence. Anant Vijay Joshi, also known as Pritam Pandey, is well-liked. Anshuman Pushkar makes a big impact. Priyanshu Chatterjee has impressed people with his short appearance and has gained their affection. Harish Khanna is nice. Sarita Joshi, who is Manoj's grandmother, is very fun and enjoyable to be around. Vikas Divyakirti (Teacher) gives an amazing performance. Geeta Agrawal Sharma (also known as Pushpa and Manoj's mother) doesn't have many opportunities.

Shantanu Moitra's music is not good. 'Restart' is heard, but it won't be popular for a long time. Shantanu Moitra's music is a lot better. Manav Shrotriya has won awards for his sound design.

Rangarajan Ramabadran's cinematography catches your attention, whether it's the scenes of Chambal or the crowded Mukherjee Nagar in Delhi. It's great that the movie was filmed in real places. Prashant Bidkar creates designs that look like real life. The same applies to Malvika Bajaj's outfits. Jaskunwar Kohli and Vidhu Vinod Chopra's editing is smooth and moves at a good speed.

Overall, 12th FAIL is a story that aims to inspire and has good intentions. At the movie theater, it will be difficult for the film to do well because very few people know about it.
